Erica and Sharon discuss how this simple question can stop a grieving parent in their tracks.  A grieving parent will struggle with answering this question because their first instinct is to always honor the relationship with their child that has passed away.  As a society, we’re not taught how to talk about grief because it makes others uncomfortable so a grieving parent will put the comfort of others before themselves when answering this question.  Erica shares her own personal struggle with this question and how she answers it today.
